MODERN CLASSICS
INDIA-89 World Philatelic Exhibition was held in New Delhi from 20.01.1989 to 29.01.1989. To commemorate this Exhibition, 14 stamps, 2 MS and 1 Booklet were issued by India Post during 1987-88-89. 6 stamps were issued in 1987 in normal Sheets of 35 stamps, and in Panes of 4 stamps for Booklet. Remaining 8 stamps issued in 1988-89 were printed in Sheetlets of 3-4-5 Panes. The illustrious Booklet contained 14 Panes with imprinted logo & inscription.
