Banknote with signature of Mr.D.Subbarao/2014

RBI Governor Mr.D.Subbarao's term was ended on 04.09.2013 and Mr.Raghu Ram Rajan took charge on 05.09.2013. Banknotes with signature of Mr.Rajan were printed in 2013. However banknotes of ₹ 500 with signature of Mr.D.Subbarao with Inset E and year 2014 printed on backside, are in circulation in year 2014. This is the collectible item for all banknote collectors !!!

New Meghdoot Postcard of 25 paise

India-Post issued a Meghdoot Postcard in denomination of 25 paise on 10.03.2014. It is an interesting fact that the Reserve Bank of India has phased out 25 paise coins from circulation since June 2011.

Hindi Script on Belgium Stamp

In year 2012, Belgium, a small country of Europe issued 5 se-tenant  stamps on theme of Calligraphy. One stamp shows Hindi script Ek Dusre ko Likhen meaning Write to Each Other. One must appreciate the depth of design and selection of a theme for the stamps. Incidentally this stamp was used by a thoughtful post-crosser from Belgium to Ahmedabad / India with entire tab, which even shows the name of the designer - Dharmesh Jadeja !!

On 11.02.2012, a set of 5 se-tenant stamps was issued by Belgium Post, depicting Latin, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi and Greek scripts.   [details taken from MICHEL Katalog]

SE-TENANTS OF "MY STAMP" SERIES ON COMMERCIALLY USED COVERS

In year 2011, thru MY STAMP series, India-Post has officially issued 29 stamps inclusive of 8 Se-tenant pairs therein. Many collectors have not included these MY STAMP series stamps in their collection as they are not listed in any reputed stamp catalogue in India. Many collectors have doubt whether these stamps can be used as postage !?
