Every year Wild Life Week is observed from 2nd to 8th October. On 2nd October 1972 a special commemorative Greetings Forces Letter was issued depicting a Royal Bengal Tiger with a block letter inscription PRESERVE WILD LIFE. The printing was done in 2 colors : Black and Blue. And also, the color trial was made in Orange color.
