Collectors of Indian stamps will have a clear concept now to include these stamps in their collection; as MICHEL, the internationally reputed publishing house has listed these 29 stamps giving specific number to each stamp in their catalog. MICHEL catalogs are popularly used in European countries where German language is widely in circulation. This listing will appear in MICHEL-Rundschau (published every month) and in MICHEL South-Asia catalog.

Color Trial of Forces Letter

Forces Letters with Season's Greetings message in hindi and english with picture of MIG Plane in normal Black color, special Blue color and Color-trial in Orange, issued by 99APO in year 1972 is a very nice collectible item useful for exhibits on many themes.

Same design stamps issued again

In year 2001, stamps on Panchtantra Tales were issued in denomination of 400p. After 10 years, the same design stamps are issued in smaller size and higher value of 500p.

In year 1962 and 1963, stamps on Wild Life were issued in denomination of 15p, 30p, 50p and 1 Rupee. After 48/49 years, the same design stamps are issued again in different shades and denomination of 500p.

In Year 1976, 4 stamps on Locomotive series were issued in denomination of 25p, 50p, 100p and 200p. After 35 years, same 4 stamps are issued in larger size and in higher value of 500p.

12 stamps of "Astrological Signs" in 2 different Types

A remarkable difference is found in 12 stamps issued in 2010 and 2011. The main design and value is the same but color and inscription differs in all 12 stamps. For benefit of collectors all 24 stamps are shown, with a strong recommendation to include these stamps as well as all 29 stamps of 12.02.2011 issued thru MY STAMP Sheetlets; in their collection of INDIAN Stamps.

A unique set of 22 picture postcards with cancellations of 21 places where Mahatma Gandhi had Night Halts during Dandi March. Each postcard is numbered and have same number on all of them and also on the Khadi cover in which they are placed. Only 500 sets are issued during GUJPEX 2011, held at Vadodara from 23rd to 25th December,2011.

World Heritage Week - Special Cover

Paying homage to 600 years of AHMEDABAD, Department of Post alongwith Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation launched a special cover with cancellation featuring "Bird Feeder" known as Chabutara in Gujarati language which is an unique feature of walled city of Ahmedabad. An impressive presentation pack with information folder highlighting the World Heritage Week Celebration was released on 19th November 2011.
