25 historic and important stamps were selected from archives of National Philatelic Museum, and India Post has authorized London based company Hallmark Group Ltd. to issue the Pride of India Collection, a set of classic stamp replicas in pure silver and layered with 24 carat gold - the first time that such a collection has ever craeted.
